List services
Netsvc "service name" \\computername /query     

Stop Service
Netsvc "service name" \\computername /stop

Start Service
Netsvc "service name" \\computername /start

This should be simple. I want to stop a service on a remote W2K server
before backup it up. NET STOP doesn't seem to give me a remote server name
option. I know it's probably simple but my plate of work is very full today.
Can anyone help?
