I haven't used this on a large scale, but LogMeIn IT Reach has a great PDA functionality. All of the common tasks - reboot server, restart service, check event log - have simple HTML menus, so it works great from a PDA. No need to resize a Windows tool if you can get a custom menu! The cost is a little high, but for some of your critical servers it might be worth it. Security is good, I know LogMeIn gets a bad rap for letting users get around firewalls, but at the same time it's one of the few remote control apps that have been recognized as HIPAA-compatible. -- Durf On 11/22/06, Angela Smith <angela_smith9@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Does anyone out there do anything funky for remote support such as using a PDA to remote control your Citrix servers? Does such a thing exist and is it usable? A PDA Phone that could do this would be so much better than lugging a laptop on weekends (obviously size may be an issue but portability would be great)..
