[THIN] OT: Poll Hard Drive Manufacturers

I've had a maddening experience with Seagate recently. My originally
purchased drive failed after 9 months. Seagate's RMA is the worst I've ever
seen. The first drive then sent via the RMA was Dead on Arrival,
and so was the second,
and so was the third.
The fourth drive I got was another refurbished drive of larger capacity.
I've only used it for backups monthly in a USB enclosure and now it has
failed roughly the 7th time I've turned it on.
The question is, who is your preferred drive manufacturer and have you have
similar experiences with Seagate?
