No we actually point to our ISPs DNS servers. We host our DNS with what is
called a warp box but cannot use that to do DNS resolution for pcs and
servers.

are you using Win200n DNS?

If so what does that DNS server have stored for your XP1 entry?

Ok here is one for all you IP gurus out there. I have been having
lots of
problems with published apps since we started using them. IE. they
would
NOT work. AFter many long ours on the phone with citrix support we
determined that it is my network. Our servers are named xp1, xp2,
xp3 etc.
We use internal 10.10.1.x addressing for ip network and use pix
firewall to
map external ips to internal ips.

Now for the fun part. When we ping 10.10.1.101 for xp1 it is fine.
but if
we ping xp1, it returns the dns name of xp1.vdesktop.org and the
external
public address which will not work inside and causes servers not to
see each
other. Has anyone seen this and know why it is doing it. my brain
is fried
and I can't figure it out.

        HELP.

        Thanks,
