Michael,

1. Check System Log on the BDC for the "Partual Syncronisations with PDC"
(every 3 hours by default)
2. Check If the Netlogon service is up and running on the BDC.

Subject: [THIN] OT: NT Domain controller problem

I have servers on 2 different segments. But on the same NT 4.0 domain. I
have moved them to the farm on the new segment. Now for some reason.
Instead of authenticating with the BDC on the new segment, logins are going
to the PDC on the old segment to authenticate. Also there user accounts map
home directories to a server on the new segment but when they use the PDC to
authenticate it is not reading this and maps there home and profile
directory to the profile directory on the local server instead of on the
network, which causes them to loose there desktops, etc. Has anyone got any
ideas why this has stopped working. It was working fine.

Thanks,
