I had this problem before, just used the Osql command line, the article
also goes on to explain how you can use functionality within Microsoft
Access as well....

Hi list,
Slightly off topic, what utilities if any are anyone using for backing
up MSDE databases, I need some thing that will do transactional backups
and the capability to
Restore and roll trransactional logs back to restore the database.
I have done this using the Microsoft SQL manager in the past but we do
not have a copy and are not likely to as costs are too high.
