[THIN] OT : MS SQL 7 - max processors

Sorry for the OT. Having a argument here and could do with an answer...
How many Processors does MS SQL 7 support ?
I say it depends on the O/S installed - i.e. NT 4 will support 8 max
but my dear colleague.. whom I'm about to punch says 4...even if W2K -
all flavours of server - advanced etc. for the O/S.
Since we don't have SQL 7 here and I can't see any blurb on the MS
site.. I was hoping someone could let me know (off list) the answer...
