I'm not using a window maker.  I'm editing this file using a raw
terminal.

.bashrc looks like this

# .bashrc

# User specific aliases and functions

# Source global definitions
if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then
        . /etc/bashrc
fi
/usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr -icaroot /usr/lib/ICAClient

What windowmaker are you using? Some have an option to start stuff
once its loaded..
