by variable im assuming you mean a MSDOS variable, like %systemroot% (only =
that youve set yourself..)?

If you want to pass something like that, you run the script like so:
kix32 script.kix $kixvar=3D%yourvar%
then $kixvar is available in the script

A while ago i am positive that someone posted a way of reading a user's var=
iable and then adding that value into a registry entry using Kix.Maybe im g=
oing a bit bonkers.

Im looking at reading a users temp variable at login time and then adding i=
t to a specific registry entry using kix.

Any takers ?
