MED-V/XP-Mode is going to be your best bet. App-V + IE6 isn't going to
work. Other options include TS/XenApp or VDI/VM-Hosted apps.
If none of those work, perhaps Win7 x64 isn't the best OS choice.

I have a requirement to run IE 6 on Windows 7 64bit, was thinking
something like softgrid or some other hypervisor on the desktop for
this.
Any other suggestions?
