[THIN] OT: Exchange SMTP

We have a software that sends emails out for notification. It uses SMTP to
do this. I have pointed it to the exchange server for the smtp server but
the emails don't go. If it sends an email to my address which is an acct on
the exchange server I get it. But if it sends anywhere else, it doesn't go.
Am i missing something in the exchange setup. I am sure it is something with
the routing but I am not sure about how to set it up. Any advice or ideas?
