Try psservice from the PS Tools toolkit offered by sysinternals.

They have a suite of powerful, free utilities.

Is there a command line that will start a service on ANOTHER system? I
would like to make IP Sentry run a script if it detects that the service is
down, that will restart the service.

I have a problem with the website stops responding all together. If I stop
the service it stops, but if I restart it, it never does. Only recourse is
to reboot the server. This is on Win2000 SP2 and SP3 with OWA 5.5 and all
the current updates/fix (Exchange SP4, etc).

My only idea is that it's just the fact that OWA 5.5 is garbage (compared to
OWA 2000) and I just deal with it. Rebooting my exchange server at late
times during the nite.

We have Outlook Web Access installed on our Exchange 5.5 server. For some
reason, the World Wide Web Publishing Service will just stop for no reason.
If i go in and restart it, it will run again for a while (usually about once
a day now) then just stops again. Has anyone seen this happen before? its
really bugging me.I have IPSentry running to let me know when it dies but I
hate having to VNC in there once or twice a day to restart it. Let me know.

Thanks,
