Jaime,
I don't think you can compare those products. Or even try to compare DMS and
archiving in general. MOSS is a collaboration platform that, among other
things, has some DMS functionality. It is part of the Office product line and
plays very together nice with Word et al. Enterprise Vault is a pure archiving
solution that can, among things, archive SharePoint-based content into it's own
database.
What are you trying to achieve, why did you come up with these two products?

Greetings List,
Sorry for the OT - just wondering what people would recommend for an
Archive/Document Management solution?
I'm aware of and have had a look at:-
Symantec Vault http://www.symantec.com/business/enterprise-vault - which has
the added benefit of catering for your PST files/emails as well as flat files
Sharepoint http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/default.mspx - which according
to every course I've ever been on the instructors have advised its a nice
product but certainly not the best document manager!
What is the lists' opinion?
