Just buy a fileserver with as much space as you can muster and use ntbackup
to save daily .bkf files on the fileserver. Use different filenames for each
day and you'll have a multilevel restore facility.

Just pray the building doesn't burn down.

we might make that recommendation but client has stated they would like to
stay away from tape for some reason. It is still early in the discussions
so I am limited as to understanding why they feel this way...

If you're willing to spend up to 5K why not go LTO?

You could look at the Sonicwall CDP range. It has some gaping flaws IMO, but
might suit.

Otherwise www.peersyncsoftware.com <http://www.peersyncsoftware.com/> their
product is fine for backup - synch less so.

Finally avail, which is similar to persync.

Hello,

Anybody know of any good disk-based backup systems for a small company (5
Windows Servers) Ideally I would like to keep it under $5k.

Thanks!
