The assignment is on the not-so-mysterious island of Kwajalein, located in the Republic of the Marshall Islands - no dinosaurs here, but lots of warm blue water and tuna, marlin, etc. The gross pay here is lower than in the states, as the provided housing/food/utilities and lack of Federal Income Tax is factored in when setting the pay scale. That said, the pay range for this position will likely be in the $12 - $13/hr range. Although not factored into the pay scale, the lack of automotive expenses (car payment, insurance, gas, maintenance, etc) is another $$$ benefit of being here. - Steve --- "Columna, Melvin" <Melvin.Columna@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > And what is this mysterious island that you fail to > mention? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Brian Delaney [mailto:brian.delaney@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2003 8:16 AM > To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [THIN] Re: OT: Desktop Support Job Position > > > How much does it pay? > > Steve Snyder wrote: > > > Sorry for the off-topic post, but JK's approval > was > > obtained. > > > > I have an immediate need to fill an open Desktop > > Support position.
