I had the same issue with a FTP server that wasn?t locked down.
Unfortuately I wasn?t able to remove them and I would be interested to
know how you get rid of them as well

I have a few directories that I need to delete but unfortunately, they
have invalid name like "COM1". Can anyone tell me how I can delete
them. I tried the rm.exe program but it only wants to delete files and
not directory.
