And if you want to script it by time and date they also have a tool called sarch that you can use....

I know of newmove.exe from Analogx which moves the newest files in a directory based on time will this help?

Hey all,



    Since I know there are a lot of really good scripters on this forum,
    I figured I’d shoot this one out in the open.



    We’re in need of copying files with a certain date range out of a
    directory. However, there are thousands upon thousands of files in
    this directory, so getting a listing via the GUI is tough. Far as I
    know, there’s no switch that can be used in the copy command that
    will perform this function.



Any ideas?
