Hey David, I looked at Xcopy earlier. It will do an "on and after" option. We actually need it the other way around. On and before that date. :-) /D:m-d-y Copies files changed on or after the specified date. If no date is given, copies only those files whose source time is newer than the destination time. -----Original Message----- From: Gano, David [mailto:DavidGano@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2004 2:54 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: OT - Copy files by date Use xcopy -- there's a date switch in there... actually, I think it's /D:d-m-y... _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ryan Lambert Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2004 2:42 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] OT - Copy files by date Hey all, Since I know there are a lot of really good scripters on this forum, I figured I'd shoot this one out in the open. We're in need of copying files with a certain date range out of a directory. However, there are thousands upon thousands of files in this directory, so getting a listing via the GUI is tough. Far as I know, there's no switch that can be used in the copy command that will perform this function.
