[THIN] Re: OT: Can't move exchange mailboxes

Backing up mailboxes individually, instead of backing up the entire private
store.

It's a bad idea if used as the only backup method for mail safety, and this
explains why:

I do brick level AND full private store backupss, since I have the room.

Pardon my stupidity, but what is "brick level" backup?

It is 5.5. the 3 boxes are 270mb, 72mb and 3mb. Can't move either of them.
Checking with my backup guy to see if brick level back is working for that
server.

5.5 or 2k? I have had this happen with 5.5 when I migrated to new servers.
It almost always happened on big mail boxes... Now when I say BIG I MEAN
BIG. Like 800 MB or a Gig on the ones that failed. After they cleaned them
out to like 500 or 600 mb I could do it.

Another question would be Can you run a brick level backup on those boxes
without error?

I have 2 servers in a site. We are trying to move all the mailboxes from
the older server to the newer one so we can bring the older one down. We
were able to move all but 3 mailboxes. When we try to move the last 3 they
just run for a while then stop. No errors nothing. Has anyone got any
ideas why this is?
