Erik, We've noticed the same thing in our farm (XPe/SP1 on Terminal Server with Data Store on SQL.) It hasn't happened for a long time because the Data Store has been stable, but its very disconcerting not being sure if this is going to work when the DS fails. - Bob Coffman -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Erik Blom Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 8:05 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] No connections when DS down Hi, Something I don't get: when the Data Store is down, no client seems to be able to connect to a Citrix server. I thought that the grace period for datastore non-availability made sure that people could still connect to a Citrix server, while the DS was being 'troubleshooted'. Am I right on this? I checked that the Data Collector was running (it runs on a different machine than the datastore) so IMHO technically clients should be able to connect??
