Can you not just set it as a user variable in System Properties -
Environment Variables ? TEMP and TMP are both set here using
%USERPROFILE% so I assume this should be o.k.

Hi
Im trying to set a new variable called "Ampdata" for all users for a new
application Im about to install. Userdata needs to point to
%userprofile%\local settings\application data\amp. I tried to use setx
in usrlogin.cmd but it didn't work. Since Im relying on %userprofile%,
the variable must run after the system variables are set. Can anyone
suggest a good way to set this variable so it runs for all users on
login?
