[THIN] New Profile Problem

Greetings List,
We have an issue where we have recently imaged a MPS 4.0 server, and now
when a user logs onto it, a new profile is created incorrectly..
The default values for the user are wiped.
We have tried:-
Re-creating the Computer SID/ removing/ adding to the domain,
Following this article, regarding resetting the registry timestamps

Running GPRW on the re-imaged server and another live server, comparing
the results.. all relevant GPO's etc being applied...
Have I missed something?? Obviously I have, because it still reset's
profiles willy-nilly...
