Mark,
When I buy a WTS box, I usually max it out with the highest speed processor
I can buy (usually only Dual's - I haven't seen that Quads buy you much in
generic applications, tho have bought them for some compute intensive tasks)
& max the memory.
If you can't max the memory to 4gb, I'd get 2gb at the least, and set
yourself up so that you can expand to 4gb later by getting the 2GB
SDRAM,133MHz,2X1GB DIMMs.

I just had a nice talk with the director of IT here. I mentioned (thanks
Ron) to him the Dell 1650 series server, he jumped on it :-) Now he wants me
to spec it out and recommend how many servers to buy at first. So my
question(s) is this...
Recommend amount of memory? 1G or more?
Processor type? Looks like I can get PIII 1.8MHz (TWO per box)
I will be running OfficeXP, Meditech, Acrobat Reader. Looking a getting 5
Dell 1650's for now.
