Go with the Duals with 4 GB RAM. Make sure they are Windows 2003 servers for better optimization. That is my opinion. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tim Couch Sent: Wednesday, June 01, 2005 2:35 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] New Citrix Servers We are getting ready to buy new citrix servers. We are looking at two Quad processor servers or three dual processor servers. There will be around 100 total users on the citrix farm, so about 50 per box. We run an insurance application that's doesn't want us having more than 25 users per processor. I am just wondering what everyone thinks, should we go with the quad's or the dual's? The quads were going to have 8gig of ram and the duals 4gig of ram.
