[THIN] Neoware & XPe - virus install needed?

I have an interesting question - on the newoare EON model (we are
testing the dual screen model) running XPe, do I still need to apply
norton AV CE on this unit if the flash memory protection feature is
enabled? I know nothing will save to the boot drive with this on, but a
virus could still attack it and spread until a reboot.

Any thoughts? I normally get the linux models so I never worry about
this...but with XPe - do I need to treat this like a normal PC with AV &
Spyware concerns?
