We've been really happy with the few we purchased, enough to make a second purchase. We have about ten of them now, replacing six-year-old terminals from Acute Network Technologies. (ANT seems to have disappeared, so we can't get those terminals repaired.) Our needs aren't much. We use straight Terminal Services---no Citrix. Most users are running Microsoft Office apps and one vertical application. Nobody has any odd peripherals attached, save for my serial-attached Handspring Visor. We're a non-profit, so simple, cheap technology (like my ancient but trusty Visor) fits the bill! I'm looking to replace our older Neoware units with faster machines, specifically considering the NTA 6010B. I searched the list archive and not a single mention was found, which leads me to believe they're not widely deployed at all. I'm not looking to become a beta tester on an unproven product, but on the other hand, my initial impression could be way off. Any insight and/or experiences would be greatly appreciated (on-list or off). Cheers, -Chris
