Hi Phil,

A chfarm should do the trick for you. Set the IMA service to manual start,
reboot and then run chfarm. If that doesn't work, a metaframe
deinstall/reinstall ought to.

Have you looked at the IMA service errors? What are they?

Regards,

Rick

Thanks, Ron.

The SQL and Exchange bits work very well, however the IMA server dies beyond
recovery. Only way forward is to reaname the domain back to what is was in
the first place, which of course fixes the issues.

Have added local admins, but that does not seem to fix it.

Next attempt will be to re-establish the permissions for Citrix Admins thru
the CMC before re-booting, I have also applied SP2, which may help.

Best regards,

Phil

SQL accounts will be fun if you are using domain accounts to access the
Citrix DS. If you are running and using IM and RM (and RM summary DB) then
make sure you change those accounts also if they are setup with domain
accounts.

In the CMC you will have to add the local admins into the Citrix
administrators at a very minimum before renamign the domain etc.

        Hello,

I am about to undertake an Nt4 Domain rename process.

We are running Citrix XPE Fr1, using a SQL 2000 Datastore, and
Exchange
        5.5Sp4.

Any obvious gotha people would know about.

I am running a test lab at present, but of course I cannot replcate
the full
        setup that we currently have!

        Many thanks for any suggestions.

        Best regards,

        Phil Newman
