Brian, you got it first time - hit the nail right on the head. Thanks a bunch. We've had to delete this key before but the symptoms were different. -----Original Message----- From: Claus, Brian [mailto:BClaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 12:28 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: NFUSE connection problem I think you have a problem with MS Term Srvr licensing. I had the same problem. I set up a test farm...played around and then set up another test farm a few months later. Anyone that connected to the old farm with 90 day term server licenses could not connect to the new farm. Problem with the licenses not getting flushed from the client machine. Here's what I did to fix. Let me know if it helps. Go into regedit hkey LM Software Microsoft MSLicensing delete the mslicensing key and all beneath it. _____ Brian Claus, A+, Network+, MCP Network Administrator WESCO Distribution, Inc. Click on the application icon, ICA starts up. After a few seconds a gray box pops up. Here's the error: ------------------ Network or dialup problems are preventing communication with the Citrix server. An attempt to automatically restore the connection will begin after a delay to let the network recover. If the problem persists, please contact your network administrator. ------------------ So I contacted the network administrator, me, and I was no help. I cleared all IE cached stuff, deleted the Web ICA cache directory and reinstalled ICA32T. All to no avail. What next ?
