Then don't forget NTFS permissions, if you truly don't want users to be
able to save to it.

As for redirecting My Documents, anything that manipulates / populates
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell
Folders\Personal with a valid value, should work - be it by script,
registry file, or GPO.

Presumably you are trying via GPO - what message do you get in the event
log when this fails?
