Don't know about Office XP but Office 2000 was incredibly easy we have one MetaFrame XP server running five different languages for four different time zones with no issues. MetaFrame just sorts out the time zone, but has nothing to do with the assignment of the language. The system language and Office language can all be set in HKLM so we use a different mandatory profile for each language and it works fine!
