This patch is also part of the Win2k Rollup if i recall correctly. 
I did a search of the updated system.adm and the settings are in there.

  With local group policies you can specify different locations for the 
profiles per server, so you basically gice each user two roaming profiles - one 
for w2k and one for w2k3.

  There is a patch that's required to be installed on your w2k server in order 
to support this. See
