I believe "YES". A client should only take One license even if it connects
to 2 different servers.
But why run "mixed" when both servers are MF XP?

Subject: [THIN] Mixed XP Server Farm licensing question

Hi

I am considering a short term mixed server farm with Windows 2000 running
Metaframe XPa and NT4 TSe and XPa.
Im not 100% certain about this scenario. I hope someone can offer some
insight.

I have 50 Citrix users running published applications. The applications will
not be installed on both servers.

For example:

Win2k Citrix servers will run Microsoft Office
NT4 servers will run older legacy applications that do not work with Windows
2000 at present.

Assuming that i have the 50 users running published applications from both
the type of Citrix servers , will i have enough citrix licenses if i have
purchased 50 ?

regards
