Joe; I would love to use Only Nfuse, but I have customers who feel that if it doesn’t have a Desktop shortcut then its too much work. That way you don't have to expose the XML Service or the UDP Port.. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jason Patten Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 11:05 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Metaframe Xpa Request2 I don't think I setup to use TCP+Http, its possible however. But I will check to see if I can get the XML port we defined opened across the firewall (right now the web server for Nfuse is on the same segment. And I did get it to work with Nfuse. Just not the PN. I think it would be a firewall issue if not for the fact the 1.8 servers still work. I did set Altaddr up if not I wouldn't be able to establish an ICA connection. If XP won't respond (and I don't remember right off hand) why it would work if it's on the other side of the firewall? Or maybe he set it up differently using TCP+HTTP by mistake.
