Yes and no... The value of "WinStationsDisabled" is stored in the localhost cache. When the IMA service is started, it will set the value to what it has recorded... _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rick Mack Sent: Tuesday, March 01, 2005 1:50 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: MetaFrame 3 Bug (feature) Hi Joe, All chglogon /enable does is toggle a registry value: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, "WinStationsDisabled" from 1 (disable logins) to 0 (enable logins). If the command isn't working consistently, a simple way to re-enable logins is to just call a regfile that changes the login value post boot. However I'd also check to make sure the reboot is happening properly. regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems Level 2, 30 Little Cribb Street Coronation Drive Office Park Milton Qld 4064 tel: +61 7 32431847 fax: +61 7 32431992 rmack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Joe Shonk Sent: Wed 2/03/2005 4:54 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] MetaFrame 3 Bug (feature) Does anyone know how to disable the stupid 'Disable logons' that survives a reboot feature that Citrix implemented? Adding a chglogon /enable to the startup script doesn't always work as IMA service may start after the startup script has executed. ############################################################################ ######### This e-mail, including all attachments, may be confidential or privileged.
