Good thought. We have those disabled in Connection config.... - Bob -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jim Kenzig Kenzig.com Sent: Tuesday, August 16, 2005 3:06 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0 and Program Neighborhood Most likely it is scanning client connected/networked drives at logon. You should be able to turn this off. We've noticed scanning on PC clients running the subject antivirus program, when launching a published app - in other words, after Program Neighborhood is open, they'll click on the published app, and that is when scanning begins in earnest. A lot more noticeable on older machines, but all clients so configured seem to do it. We've excluded the Citrix directory in \Program Files. Are there other exclusions we should implement?
