Hi Jay,

In my case I don't have any of these two hotfixes.

Yes I delete cached profiles at logoff using a GPO so I don't need to clear
up the documents and settings directory.

The hotfixes I currently have are:
Q320206
Q328020
and now 823980 (MS03-026)

To delete the directory try restarting the server to clear any open
processes that may have a lock on the files.

Do you guys delete cached copy of roaming profile from the TS server upon
user logoff (using GPO or RegHack)?

The thing is I do not do it and leave a copy of the profile on the server.
I did not have Error 1000 until I tried to delete a profile for 1 of my
user. I went to My Computer -> Properties->Use Profiles, selected a user
and clicked "Delete" it returned to me with error that not everything was
deleted. I checked and sure enough the UserClass.dat was there. Now I can
not completely delete this user's profile folder and user can not log in
to this server with the error reported in the previous post. I I try to
take ownership I can but if I try to delete the folder it errors out saying
"The source or destination file may be in use".

I have not tried to uninstall the Blaster hotfix but I may try if during
next scheduled reboot I will not get rid of this profile folder.

Environment: 3 servers W2K SP3 XPa, FR2. TS roaming profiles without
deleting a copy from the server.

Any ideas how to delete the folder?

Sorry I should have read your post better.
I am still getting the error you mention infrequently. removing the
hotfixes I mentioned solved this event id 1000 error.

I posted the same issue a day ago. What I have found is somehow this
hotfix combined with others causes the problem. I found a post on
the Citrix web forum about this issue. A contributor mentioned
fixing this problem by uninstalling the hotfixes 328310 and 329170
(been out since 12/2002). *Very preliminary* this appears to have
fixed the issue with the profiles. Don't ask me how or why this
worked. It does allow you to keep the blaster worm fix from what I
      can tell though.

      Gday all

I recently installed Hotfix MS03-026 to a client site to protect
      against
the Blaster worms. I have found that if I now create a new user
      account or
re-create a users roaming profile that the profile does not save back
      to
      the file server.

On the Citrix server I get the following error
      Source: Userenv
      EventID: 1000
      Description:
Windows cannot unload your registry class file. If you have a
      roaming
profile, your settings are not replicated. Contact your
      administrator.
DETAIL Access is denied. , Build number ((2195)).

I have been able to find the HKCU registry hive isn't being unloaded
      at
logoff. If I uninstall the MS03-026 hotfix the problem goes away.

I have tried re-installing hotfixes in numerical order to see if this
      was
      the cause, but no difference.

We are running Windows 2000 SP3 with MetaFrame XPe FR2.

Has anyone else had this problem?

      Cheers
