I've got a script that sets file associations for Office or Office viewer
based on group membership if anyone wants that. Email me offlist.

The new 2003 viewers for Word/Excel/Visio/PowerPoint install very nicely,
even with the full products loaded (they create separate keys for themselves
under HKCR). What you have to watch out for are the 97 viewers.

I have a policy file for switching users back and forth between viewers and
full versions if you're interested.

Hi,

They're safe for TS and I've used them lots of times.

There are no issues with installation unless you've also got the full office
products loaded, in which case you'll be sorting out file associations. By
themselves there are no issues.

regards,

Rick

Hi Everyone.

Has anybody installed/use MS office viewers on a Citrix Terminal
servers, and if so, how do you installed them. I am searching the
microsoft website, but so far I have not been able to find the
instructions on how to install or if they are safe for TS.

Thank you.
