When you try to connect to your Terminal server (the server that has
Terminal Server enabled) from your Windows-based terminal (WBT)
device, the Terminal Services Licensing service may deny your
     connection.
   CAUSE
This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:
You update the electrically erasable programmable read-only
memory (EEPROM) of your WBT device.
The following subkey is deleted from your registry:

              HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store
Your WBT device has been issued a new temporary license.
You have installed the hotfix that is described in the following
          Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

If all these conditions are true, Terminal Services Licensing may
treat your Terminal Services license as expired.
   RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only
intended to correct the problem described in this article. Only apply
it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix
may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely
affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the
next Windows 2000 service pack that contains this fix.
