Valid point..but of course I'm dealing with users here and so your argument
falls over due to "User Logic".. ;->
"I don't like word"
"But I want to use the text in excel"
"I want to sent it direct to the customer in outlook"
"I don't like computers and I want to scribe it onto wax tablets"
"Can I use it with the Microsoft carrier pigeon interface ?"

"OK.. you win.. what about if I just put it on the clipboard and you can
paste it into whatever application you think is todays latest greatest
application. "

I'd be greatful for any pointers - ie. Citrix registry/ hotfixes to fix the
users clipboard from disappearing.

Thanks

What are you trying to achieve by using the clipboard? if youre pasting it =

somewhere else in the application, why cant you access the control directly=
=3D
? if youre pasting it into another application, why not use the sendkeys fu=

nction?
