Great points. Thanks for chiming in.

I figured it was a license issue. Just don't know what to do to fix it.

The user is a local admin and has rights to write to that key. I deleted
the license info (as stated in the citrix fix) from the workstation that he
was logging in with. I checked the eventlog on the server and there doesn't
appear to be anything significant in them. It's strange, cause it's only
this one system - and it's a brand new build. (Which incidentally led us to
this problem, because the same user was having this problem on the older
system. Rather then fix the problem, they were due for a new system upgrade
anyway.)

Its normally an MSLicensing issue - is there anything in the event log on
the ctx server?

When you say you've deleted the key you have deleted it from the
workstation? And made sure they have write access to that component for that
key?

What happens if (temporarily) you make the user an admin on that machine?

Subject: [THIN] MF Server login

I just inherited a MF Server (version 3.0 Build 2085) that I'm having an
issue with for one computer (well two now).

When this user logs into the web interface on the MF server, he is prompted
for credentials and it processes them. Once he selects the farm, it shows
the published apps and desktop. However, when selecting any of the
available options, the process hangs with the "preparing to connect" dialog
box showing.

I found a link on Citrix's web site
(http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=258165
<http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=258165&fromSearchPag
e=true&#258165> &fromSearchPage=true&#258165) that stated to delete this
key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\LICENSE00x

I've done so, but still am having issues. I've looked at the other
suggestions on Citrix's site and nothing appears to work. When this same
user logs in using another system, it has not issue.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Rick
