Eugene,

Instead of going to XPe you can go to XPa with PowerFuse for the SAME
price but with tremendous more power and functionalities. The RES
PowerFuse solution keeps track of all logging on all usage of
applications, sessions, memory, CPU usage etc etc.

PowerTrace among lots of other things logs:
Server  Client IP               192.168.182.19=09
Client Name                     ClientRES
User                            RESUser
OU                              Support
Application                     Outlook
Start date/time         27/01/2003 08:09
End date/time                   27/01/2003 08:21
Time open                       11:42
Time active                     02:38
Memory(kb)                      17,408
CPU usage(s)                    00:04.0
Critical CPU load duration(s)   00:01.3

Check it out on www.respowerfuse.com for a demo and documentation.
Don't hesitate to ask more :)

Subject: [THIN] Logging a User IP Address

We had an interesting issue this morning with 2 users with the Slammer =
=3D
virus, dialed in caused excessive congestion on the router. We found the
=3D
ip addresses of the offfending users but by the time we did they must
have =3D
logged off. What we know is that based on the IP aaddress it was a dial
=3D
up user.

I know you can go into the CSA screen and get information on the user
and =3D
his IP address if he is connected - is there any way to log this.

We are currently using MF 1.8 but in the next several weeks will be =3D
cutting over to a new XPeFR2 farm

I don't think Resource Manager is designed to do this but I an mot all =
=3D
that famaliar with it - Any suggestions????
