We deployed this client at a site with win9x who had to conect to a
termianl server.
They don't need client drive mapping or client printing.

Works fine., finnally they've made something that works.

Hi Guiseppe,

through this list. The URL was posted on Tuesday, July 02, 2002 by Brian
Ludden. (Subject: [THIN] Re: Terminal Services) it was:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/tools/1.0/wxp/en-us/msrd
pcli
.exe

I already had this WinXP CD before but never thought of trying the RDP
client on the CD on something else than WindowsXP. Because of the posts
to this group I checked again, and look ... it works also on NT4 and
Windows2000, so why not use it?

It has a bunch of exciting new features we missed in the RDP 5.0 client.
It also has a couple of minor bugs ... (but such is life, nowadays).

It allows to use a color depth larger than 8bit (the current limit in
the PN Client, as to what I know). Alt Tab was mentionned, access to
WindowsXP desktop clients (I got one a couple of months ago, so I can
now remotely access my desktop what is much better than using VPN
before)
