Correct, and as you said that applies strictly to WI and WI communication to the Farm. For example, authentication of the user and getting icons to display. It does not affect Presentation Server load balancing of sessions.

Thanks Jeff. I guess I was reading from the book and it applied to the WI. It states that an administrator can use the following procedure to enable load balancing.
Open ASC and select manage server farms
Select the server farm to manage from the farms field and click Edit to configure an existing farm
Select the Use the server list for load balancing option

By default, unless your using standard edition, load balancing is happening. You cannot enable or disable load balancing on advanced or enterprise. It is always happening. Go look at the LE tab in the CMC and you will see your sers are using the Default LE. What you are seeing is absolutely normal and expected.
