[THIN] Re: Licensing Question

I ran into this approximately 3 or 4 months ago.
A customer had a 1.8 farm. They were migrating to XPe,
and purchased a product migration license. The
license, however, was only valid for upgrading 1.8 to
XPa, not XPe.

Was this an issue with their subscription advantage
expiring, or is this by design?

I'm at another customer site, and I see the same
migration scenario. I want to assure the customer that
they have purchased the correct license, as I have to
do a server juggling act to implement the upgrade, and
I don't want to be down for an extended length of
time.
