Try this. @echo off e: cd \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office START Outlook.exe cd \Program Files\project1 START project1.exe EXIT Dirk Blose, MCSE, CCA Lead Technical Analyst (919) 765-4791 dirk.blose@xxxxxxxxxx >>> MarioV@xxxxxxxxx 04/16/03 01:43PM >>> Hey dirk Tried that originally, but didn't work. Still took your advice and = re-added the START command. Still no go. Here is what I'm using: -------------------------------------- @echo off START "E:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe"=20 START "E:\Program Files\project1\project1.exe"=20 EXIT -------------------------------------------- If I remove the first START command outlook opens. If I close outlook, the second app will start. Interesting. -----Original Message----- From: Dirk Blose [mailto:Dirk.Blose@xxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2003 10:33 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 Subject: [THIN] Re: Launching two apps with one published app, can it be done? You need to use the start command to start them so that the script will = =3D continue. Hello I'm trying to launch outlook at the same time an in house program is launched. The trick is that we need it be in the same session. We're trying to avoid giving this customer a full desktop. Our in house app =3D needs to view outlook from within the same session to send reports via email. I published outlook and our in house app, but still could not email from =3D with our inhouse app. We are using crystal reports to email from our in house app but it cannot see the email client running as a separate published =3D app. Am I stuck with giving the customer a desktop? Thanks for your input and advice Mario =3D20 System Specs: W2K SP3, MF1.8, NT Domain, Exchange 5.5, Crystal Reports 8.5 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=3D20=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=3D20=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=3D20=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=3D20=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=3D20=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=3D20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=3D20=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm=20 ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services=20 and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/=20 ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe. http://www.thinprint.com/ ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
