Here it is

start /B "Office" "d:\apps\program files\microsoft
Office\office10\winword.exe"
start /B "Office" "d:\apps\program files\microsoft
Office\office10\excel.exe"

That will open both of the applications

Hey dirk
Tried that originally, but didn't work. Still took your advice and re-added
the START command. Still no go.

Here is what I'm using:
--------------------------------------
@echo off

START
"E:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe"

START
"E:\Program Files\project1\project1.exe"

EXIT

--------------------------------------------

If I remove the first START command outlook opens.

If I close outlook, the second app will start. Interesting.

You need to use the start command to start them so that the script will =
continue.

Further testing shows that if I close the first app, the second will open.

Thanks again magnus...

I tried your solution=20
But only one app opens and the cmd box stays open..

Something I'm missing? I'll also try the wtslaunch program that Jim
recommended.

Sorry I screwed up the script try this

@echo off
"D:\Apps\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Outlook.exe"
"D:\Apps\Program Files\MyApp\Myapp.exe" Exit

That should work for you

Thanks Magnus,=20
I gave your script a go, but I just get the failed to start application =
pop up. =20

I tried to run the batch file in a citrix session but I just got command
windows.

My knowledge of scripts and batch files is minimal. In fact what I do =
know I learned from this list.

Thanks
Mario

Publish a batch file that launches both your app and outlook=20

@echo off
Start (path of outlook.exe)
Start (path of yourapp.exe)
Exit

Something like the above

Hello
I'm trying to launch outlook at the same time an in house program is
launched. The trick is that we need it be in the same session. We're
trying to avoid giving this customer a full desktop. Our in house app =
needs to view outlook from within the same session to send reports via
email. I published outlook and our in house app, but still could not email
from = with our inhouse app. We are using crystal reports to email from our
in house app but it cannot see the email client running as a separate
published = app. Am I stuck with giving the customer a desktop? Thanks for
your input and advice Mario =20 System Specs: W2K SP3, MF1.8, NT Domain,
Exchange 5.5, Crystal Reports 8.5
