The Dell True Mobile 1300 does not support 802.11a. Only b and g. The 1400 is dual band and supports a/b/g. So far, I haven't had any issues with connecting to various b and g access points (some have been cisco, but I'm didn't think to find out what the models were) Joe -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Stage, Paul Sent: Monday, October 27, 2003 2:10 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] Kinda off topic...Wireless Question I want to confirm the Dell True Mobile 1300 wireless NIC, both 802.11g & 802.11a will work with Cisco's access points, specifically models 350 and 1220 running 802.11b now and 802.11g in the future? Is anyone currently using the 1300 in either/both of these environments? Thanks, Paul T. Stage, MCP, A+ Information Services La Porte Hospital Tel.
