KevSoft Announces Company Name Change to RTO Software
Company Unveils New Corporate Identity
SUWANEE, GA, October 31, 2002 - KevSoft Corporation announced today that,
effective immediately, it is operating under its new name, RTO Software,
Inc. The new name and company identity better reflect the application of the
patent-pending "Run-Time Optimization" technology employed in the company's
existing and future products.
Run Time Optimization is the process that the company uses to improve the
scalability and performance of server-based applications. The company's
flagship product, TScale(tm), employs this run time optimization technique
to increase the performance and capacity of applications running on Citrix®
and Microsoft® Terminal Servers, enabling those servers to support, on
average, 30%-40% more users without adding server hardware.
"Renaming the company to RTO Software is part of our ongoing campaign to
create and lead a new category of performance management products," said
Bernd Harzog, CEO of RTO Software. "As opposed to other performance
management tools which simply alert operators when performance degrades, our
products watch applications as they execute on these servers and tune
applications performance at run time - automatically and continuously".
In conjunction with the name change, RTO Software also launched its new web
