There's no reason why you cannot access the normal user environment
variables in Kixtart - exactly the same as in command files - just use =
the
%sdfdsfsdfs% syntax.

In terms of your question, I've no idea why the Kix macros don't deal =
with
these variables in this instance - never actually tried it, personally.
