Sounds like it's time to break out Filemon and Regmon. I would guess SP1
tightened up some permissions that we'll all have to find and correct.

Whoops. I misspoke. There is an event log entry after loading the hotfix.
It indicates: IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error: failed to initialize
properly (0xc0000005). Any ideas??

I have been trying to figure this out for the last couple of days. IE no
longer works from an ICA session after applying W2K3 SP1 on a test server. I
applied this hotfix and the reg entries but it still fails. Running the IE
pub app results in a user logout immediately upon logging in. Is anyone else
experiencing this symptom with IE and SP1? Has it been resolved by the
hotfix? This hotfix does not seem to resolve the issue in my environment. Of
course, the event logs do not reveal any reason for the logoff.
As IE is the executable for our published app, this is a major problem for
us. Can someone else test this hotfix and see if it resolves the issue?
Publish IE on a server with SP1 loaded and verify that it fails, then apply
the hotfix. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
